There are days when you cannot leave the house because you are influenced or just want to stay warm or, still, you are forced to remain in quarantine for a month together with your whole nation. Here suddenly a little voice speaks to you, you look in the mirror and you realize that your skin needs to be regenerated and, perhaps, the time has come to listen to it.
So how do you create a handmade natural skincare?
Let’s start by understanding what kind of need our skin has, let’s understand if we need to hydrate or clean it.
A very simple mask that we can create is the one with honey and coffee.
Let’s start immediately with two basic ingredients, which we almost all have at home; thanks to their regenerating properties honey will leave your skin very soft and velvety while coffee will act as a natural scrub, awakening all the pores of the face.
You need to mix a teaspoon of honey (no matter what type or brand) with two well-filled teaspoons of ground coffee and let the preparation rest for a few minutes and then: go on with the application!
Another super simple mask to make is with honey and lemon.
They are two very delicate aromas but deadly weapons against facial impurities and will make blackheads disappear in a few weeks.
First of all you have to mix a spoonful of honey and a spoonful of freshly squeezed lemon juice; the rest time is just five minutes but be careful: it is important, after applying the mask, not to expose yourself to the sun until rinsing, because the lemon base is very acidic and, if used incorrectly, it risks leaving annoying spots on the skin!
Another mask for healthy skin: coconut oil and turmeric:
Edible coconut oil can be found easily, it is an excellent substitute for olive oil and is also very useful against dry lips and sunburn.
A teaspoon of coconut oil and half a teaspoon of turmeric are in fact perfect against chemical pollutants such as smog and fine dust; the application of these products three times a week will give you splendid results after just fifteen days: your skin will appear visibly healthier and more hydrated … goodbye chaps!
To best mix your mask and give it an intense fragrance and moisturizing power, you can add a few drops of lemon, orange essential oil or, a few more drops of Lagalene oil.
These are just some of the masks that you can prepare at home, but there are many more, the main ingredients are patience and self-love, since time is not lacking in this period and you will see that even at home you can take care of yourself with a cosmetic healthy and natural … remember #istayhome!
